As part of the "Their Past - Your Future" project, Scottish History for All hosted a series of WWII lectures.
All lectures started at 7.30pm and entry was free.
Programme of Lectures
Wednesday 31st August 2005 - Sauchie Hall
Living History historian Bob Holsman presented a talk on the Home Front entitled "Dad's Army"
Thursday 22nd September 2005 - Tullibody Civic Centre
War veteran Bill Knaggs presented a talk entitled "The Easy Trip", which included details of his time with the RAF Evading Society and as an RAF evader in occupied France, during WWII.
Wednesday 16th November 2005 - Tillicoultry Community Centre
Major Alistair Campbell, Regimental Secretary with the Argylls RHQ - Stirling Castle, presented an illustrated talk on the history of "The Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders during the Second World War"
